Jason is a Fractional Controller at The Finance Group. He lives in Toronto, Ontario and supports our clients with system integrations, month-end close, and process evaluations and ensures adherence to accounting standards. He has a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Accounting and Marketing from the UofM and brings over 12 years of accounting experience (7 years in public practice and 5 years in industry) to the team. He has direct experience with Agriculture, Tech starting-ups, Aviation, Real estate, and Restaurant industries.
Jason enjoys a variety of responsibilities, from ad hoc projects month-end close, budgeting/forecasting, and financial statement analysis. He also enjoys consulting and collaborating with various stakeholders and other team members. You can find Jason spending time with his spouse and two dogs when he’s not working. He’s also an avid traveler eager to experience new cultures and locations.
